The only way to reach Dudhsagar Falls is by train.

Dudhsagar Falls is the junction between Belagavi, Goa and North Kannada regions.

If you are planning a trip to Karnataka, don’t miss the opportunity to visit Dudhsagar Falls. Local18 reports that the scenic waterfall flows from the Western Ghats range between Karnataka and Goa.

Dudhsagar Falls is a place that anyone must visit as one will be able to witness one of the most majestic natural wonders. According to Local18, the waterfall is the intersection of Belagavi, Goa and Uttar Kannada regions. Not only the waterfall, but the surrounding scenery is also worth seeing.

No vehicles other than trains can reach the location. Thus, on one side of the British-era railway bridge, one can see a magnificent view of a white waterfall flowing like milk. Standing on the opposite side of the bridge, visitors can see the green forest covered with snow, which is simply heaven on earth.

Dudhsagar waterfall gets its name from its scenery which seems to give the image of flowing milk as Dudh means milk in Hindi. Local 18 said standing near the old railroad bridge and looking up at the waterfall felt like a river of milk flowing from the sky.

How to get to your destination?

The safest way to visit the falls is via the railway line. To reach Dudhsagar Falls, you have to take the train from Belagavi to Castle Rock route at 10:30 am. At 5 pm, you can take the Nizamuddin Express and return from the same route.

Also, if you take a train from the Vasco-Goa route and stop in Ronda, you will be able to find the road to the Dudesagar Falls. You can then board a train to Castle Rock to begin your journey to this magical place.
