“Personally, when I eat mushrooms, the last thing I want to do is think about climate change. But that’s obviously me should That’s what’s being done, according to… Psychedelics for Climate Action. (Emily Atkin, “Heat”)
Emily Atkin outdoes herself in the anti-fossil fuel Substack Heated race. “I fell down the rabbit hole of climate action psychedelics,” she admits. “Then I came back to reality.” She continued:
Personally, when I eat mushrooms, the last thing I want to do is think about climate change.
But that's obviously me should Here's what we're doing, according to a new advocacy group. Psychedelics for Climate Action (PSYCA) believes that the use of mind-altering substances and indigenous plant medicines such as ayahuasca, psilocybin, ibogaine, ketamine and LSD can inspire people to help solve the climate crisis.
PSYCA officially launched last month at the New York City Psychedelic Convention. I decided to participate because, frankly, I've been feeling really depressed about the state of the world lately. I thought it would be fun to go to this, at least.
It's true, but it's also really thought-provoking. So today, I’m going to tell you how I fell down the Earth Trip Ball rabbit hole, and how I eventually came back to reality.
Madness is madness… destroying Stonehenge. Splash paint on museum masterpieces. Disrupting sporting events. disrupt traffic.
Stop Oil members committed crimes and were jailed. Justice has been served. Extinction Rebellion is also getting attention now.
Final comments
Emily Atkin faces a bleak future if she goes to war with dense, reliable, affordable, consumer-driven, taxpayer-neutral, infrastructure-light, global greening energy. She firmly believes that industrial wind power, solar arrays and batteries are good for the environment.
She should now study these issues with an open mind to promote human progress. Then back to reality. Then uses her as a case study in the triumph of reason over emotion to push back against the climate-industrial complex and the elitism behind it.
