In a shocking incident, a driver in Kota, Rajasthan, was surprised to find a 3-foot-long black cobra hidden in his loading vehicle after a routine trip. The driver, Pritam, was unaware of the snake's presence and he drove happily throughout the journey unaware of the snake's presence. He didn't realize the danger until he returned home and saw the cobra emerging. The driver spotted the snake after he parked his car and got out of the vehicle.
Panicked, he locked his car and immediately contacted snake catcher Govind Sharma for help. Sharma reacted quickly and reached the rural area of Avali Rogidi to rescue the cobra. He safely removed the snake from the vehicle and released it into nearby forest.
Sharma noted that incidents involving black cobras and other wild animals entering vehicles are not uncommon, especially during the monsoon season.
This case highlights the challenges residents in rural areas often face, where unexpected encounters with wildlife in vehicles can occur.
