The court noted that the future of two lakh students appearing for the examination cannot depend on the demands of the five petitioners
The Supreme Court on Friday refused to intervene in NEET PG 2024 and said the exam will not be rescheduled.
While hearing the case, a Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said, “We will not reschedule. There are two lakh students and four hundred thousand parents. We cannot depend on the future of two lakh students on the petition of five at the request of the person.
The CJI further said, “We all live in an extremely diverse country.”
