The three engineers were previously working in the Delhi government's Public Works Department (PWD) and were involved in the construction of Chief Minister Kejriwal's official residence at 6 Flagstaff Road, North Delhi Civil Lines, the official said.
“They and a number of others are responsible for irregularities, which include rule violations and massive cost escalation in the name of advanced modifications,” the official claimed.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said in a statement that the matter should be investigated fairly and impartially and if any corruption or irregularities are found, strong and decisive action should be taken.
“If either scenario proves to be true, then in this case it is extremely unfortunate and should never have happened,” the statement read.
