200 air force personnel from India, France, Germany and Spain, flown in to participate in India's first multinational air combat exercise Tarang Shakti, visited the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on August 11.
During the visit, staff explored sacred spaces, including soaking in vibrant water bodies known as Theerthakunds – Suryakund for men and Chandrakund for women. They also experienced the Dhyanalinga, a profound meditation space, and witnessed the stunning Adiyogi Divya Darshanam, a 12-minute immersive video imaging performance mapped onto the face of Adiyogi.
“It was an incredible experience. The culture here is completely different and it's enriching to visit a place like this and experience something so unique. People respect and love us so much and we're so happy.

“I have been here three times in the last week and each visit has offered a different experience – from meditation to temples, from mountains to light shows (Adiyogi Divya Darshanam),” said another German contingent.
Staff were introduced to simple yet powerful yoga practices including Yoga Namaste and Nadi Shudi. These practices are specifically designed to help them cope with stressful work situations with greater ease and clarity, thereby enhancing their resilience and performance in high-pressure environments.
Previously, on August 7, Lieutenant General Ingo Gerharz, Chief of Staff of the German Air Force, visited the Elsa Yoga Center during the exercise.
