Tirumala is a spiritual place in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, attracting thousands of devotees every year. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has once again asked devotees to book online darshan. The organization asks not to contact any middlemen for bookings.
Recently, approximately 14,449 suspicious transactions were discovered from 545 users. All users were reportedly blocked and a message was forwarded to them informing them of the action. Some users have booked around 225 tickets for Srivani darshan, a premium darshan service for devotees. The organization reportedly conducts frequent scans to track down any misconduct.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams have also taken proactive steps to identify pilgrims using fake identity cards to go there for darshan. The organization mentioned that many pilgrims use fake ID cards to book accommodation and other services. They further added that such things are done by middlemen and therefore requested people to avoid using their services and book darshan on their own. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams said they will take legal action against those who indulge in such violations.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Andal Ammavari Thiruvadipuram Sattumora, a grand celebration was organized in Tirumala on Wednesday, August 7 . middle. As part of the celebrations, special ceremonies are held here. The gods are then led in a special procession.
On the same day, Sri S Sridhar IPS assumed office as the new Chief Vigilance and Security Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. Later the officer gave darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. Later, several Vedic scholars blessed S Sridhar at the Ranganayaka Mandapam. Officials from the TTD Vigilance and Security Department and Police Station participated in the event.
