In the ongoing story in Bihar's Jamui district, two women were forcibly sent back to their respective families after they eloped and got married on the pretext of wrong numbers. Over the past seven years, the two women, who were married with children of their own, developed a romantic relationship that led to major changes in their lives. Both women reportedly left their husbands, children and families behind to marry each other, with one woman identified as the husband and the other as the wife in the new relationship.
The two men, Komal Kumari and Soni Kumari, got in touch through a wrong number seven years ago and their relationship began there. Over time, their conversations deepened into a romantic relationship and eventually a commitment to each other. Soni, who lives in Chhapra district, married a man from Patna in 2020 and has a son. On the other hand, Komal, who hails from Lakapur village in Nagar police station area of Jamui district, got married at the same time and has two children.
In 2023, Komal and Soni decided to get married without informing their family, who later found out about their union. In their relationship, Soni is positioned as the husband while Komal plays the role of the wife. When Komal's family learned about their relationship, they instructed her to distance herself from Soni. Unable to see Soni, Komal discussed moving to another city for work with her family, but they refused to support her decision.
Recently, Komal contacted Soni and the two planned to elope. Komal's family became aware of their plans and reported the situation to the police. Despite their claims of a deep and inseparable bond, the two women were returned to their families by the Mahira police station. Station in-charge Preeti Kumari confirmed that Komal and Soni have been reunited with their respective families.
