A total of 32 OLMS are expected to be set up by the end of this year, including 14 in the Yamuna river and 18 at different drainage locations, a DPCC official was quoted as saying. PTI As said.
“It will help in obtaining instant data on water quality at drain and river locations, which can be viewed at the command and control centre. This will allow easy identification of where and when the situation worsens,” he added.
The proposed locations of OMLS include Palla, ISBT Bridge, ITO Bridge, Nizamuddin Bridge, Okhla Barrage, Najafgarh Drainage, Metcalf House Drainage, Khyber Pass Drainage, Sweeper Colony Drainage, etc.
