President Dupadi Murmu will address the nation on the eve of the 78th Independence Day on Wednesday, Malacañang said.
The speech will be telecast across the Akashvani nationwide network at 7 pm and in Hindi on all Doordarshan channels, followed by an English version, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Following the speech broadcast on Doordarshan in Hindi and English, local channels on Doordarshan will broadcast it in local languages.
Akashvani will telecast the regional language version on their respective regional networks at 9:30 pm, the statement added.
