The woman named Lavanya has worked in various fields over the past 30 years. When the coronavirus broke out, she decided to move to her hometown Parumachala village in Nandi Kotkul constituency in Nandyal district. She previously lived in Dubai, where she lived for 30 years and worked in various businesses. So, just as her career was booming, the epidemic hit and she had to leave this place and return to India and her hometown.

According to Local18, the cost of the 4 acres of land is Rs 50 lakh. Lavanya said it is a “successive crop” with initial outlays expected every year. Then, it will become easier to make profit from this crop.
The businesswoman added that dragon fruit consumption is increasing rapidly. Traders buy directly from organically grown crops. The market price of the fruit per kilogram is Rs 150 and the profit may also be higher. Lavanya's business employs more than 10 people.
