Goats worth around Rs 10 lakh stolen from Noida farmhouse in Sector 135, leaving traders shocked
In an unusual incident, a dozen goats worth around Rs 10 lakh were stolen from a Noida businessman living in a farmhouse in Sector 135. .
The trader was identified as Abuzar, also known as Kamal. He reported that more than a dozen goats were stolen from his farms No. 5, 6 and 7 of Lumei. Ten goats escaped.
The goats are of a particularly expensive breed, worth about Rs 70,000 to Rs 80,000 each. A senior police official confirmed that a case has been registered at the Police Expressway and an investigation team has been set up to trace the culprits.
Given the scale of the theft and the possibility of identifying a suspect, police are optimistic the case will be solved quickly. The theft has caused significant concern among local residents and authorities, highlighting the need for increased vigilance and security measures at properties in the area.
In early July, a similar theft occurred, with seven goats worth about 100,000 rupees each stolen from the same farmhouse.
