A total of 10 people were arrested and three were detained after unidentified miscreants forced their way into the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital shortly after midnight on Thursday. The incident occurred during the “Take Back the Night” protest march, after which police had to use tear gas to disperse the mob. A police vehicle and several two-wheelers were also damaged in the incident. A police officer said some police officers were injured in the violence.
