DRDO sources said Padma Shri recipient Agarwal passed away on Thursday due to mild senile ailments.
RN Agarwal, known as the father of the country's Agni missile, passed away here.
He is 84 years old.

He has served as Director of Project Agni and Director of ASL (Advanced Systems Laboratory), Hyderabad.
Sources said that former President Abdul Kalam and India's “missile man” have launched the IGMDP (Integrated Guided Missile Development Program), and Agni is a key plan among them.
They said Agarwal played an important role in launching the Agni series missiles.
