A 36-year-old Indian man in North Carolina, USA, was shot and killed during a robbery at his convenience store.

Patel was rushed to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center and then transferred to Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, where he died from his injuries.
A teenage suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting, but his identity has not been released due to his juvenile status, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office. The arrest took place Tuesday night, but further details have not yet been released.
After hanging up the 911 call, officers rushed to the Tobacco House and learned of the shooting on the way. Upon arrival, they found Patel suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Surveillance footage captured a tall, slender white man running across the store parking lot and away from the building. “He was a super nice guy, great to customers, loved his family and would help anyone,” said regular customer Patricia Howard.
“There are no words to describe what a great guy Mike is,” added Javier Lopez, a longtime partner of the store.
