The Vice President expressed his hope that these men would be inspired by the great sacrifices made to achieve freedom for our country.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said here on Saturday that some people in the country are putting political interests ahead of national interests and hope wisdom will prevail over them.

The Vice President expressed his hope that these men would be inspired by the great sacrifices made to achieve freedom for our country.

“Some people in the country are putting political interests ahead of national interest for inappropriate reasons. Let us hope and pray that they become wiser,” Dhankar said at the Swarna Bharat Trust event at Venkatachalam in Nellore district. said during a speech at the foundation meeting.

Danka's comments came a day after he expressed concern that a person with constitutional status asking the Supreme Court to make a Somotu finding would give wings to “a narrative aimed at destroying our economy.”

The vice president's remarks were seen as a clear attack on Rahul Gandhi, leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.

He stated that the freedom gained through supreme sacrifice should be nurtured every moment so that it can bloom.
