Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday said the government may release draft rules for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act within a month.
The minister said that the government is first committed to the digital implementation of the bill and has formulated corresponding rules.
“The framework is ready and the draft rules for consultation are expected to be released within a month,” Vashno told reporters here.
The minister said the final draft of the rules was reviewed last week and is expected to be made public within a month.
