Peethadheeshwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham announced a mega padyatra program to promote unity among Hindus and promote Sanatan Dharma. The journey will start from Bageshwar Dham towards Orchha Ramraja Sarkar, covering 20 kilometers every day from November 21 to 30.
Shastri expressed deep concern over the situation in Bangladesh and stressed the need to prepare for the future. He stressed that the padyatra, which would be conducted on foot through various villages and offered prayers at the temple of Ram Raja Sarkar, was crucial for national and religious unity.
Participants in the padyatra must register in advance and registration will begin after receiving administrative approval. They will be responsible for bringing their own blankets, plates and bedding, and daily meals will be arranged based on the number of registered attendees.
Shastri described Padyatra as a major movement for Hindu unity and national prosperity, stressing that the elimination of the caste system was crucial to overcoming obstacles to Hindu unity and national development.
