While the city of dreams, Mumbai, is famous for its nightlife, there is one eerie place in this bustling city that people avoid even in the morning. This haunted place is located in Colaba and is known as Mukesh Mills.
The factory covers an area of more than 10 acres and was once famous for its production of cotton clothes. It is said that around 1970, the mill caught fire for some reason, and many people were swallowed by the fire.
A few years later, another fire broke out in the same factory, again killing many people. After this incident, Mukashmir Mills was closed in 1980 and now lies in ruins.
After the factory closed, the owners decided to rent it out for filming. Many movies were shot here and within a few years it became a popular filming location.
Bollywood actor Bipasha Basu felt the place was haunted while filming the movie “Pavement”.
Several other Bollywood actors also felt the same way during the shooting of Mu Kashmir. After several such claims, the place is now deserted and the shootings have ceased.
