Officials said three people were injured in the incident and were taken to nearby GT Hospital, where doctors declared two of them “dead”, both 30 years old.
They said the third victim, 19, was being treated in hospital and was in stable condition.
Search and rescue operations are underway at the site with the help of Mumbai Fire Brigade personnel to find out if anyone is trapped under the rubble, officials added.
