Kirit Somaiya could be seen climbing a human pyramid and breaking earthen pots filled with curds in Mumbai on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, former MP and BJP leader Kirit Somaiya broke Genius Handy In Bhandup, Mumbai.
In the video shared by news agency PTI, the former MP can be seen climbing up the human pyramid and breaking earthen pots filled with curds.
This is not the first time that a BJP leader has celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with such enthusiasm. In 2022, Somaia staggered up to the three-story pyramid to celebrate Genius Handy In Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
It is noteworthy that devotees of Lord Krishna enthusiastically participate in Genius Handy ceremony, with great joy and excitement. This year Dahi Handi falls on August 27, the day after Krishna Janmashtami.
The Dahi Handi ritual involves an earthenware pot (handi) suspended high, filled with ghee, sweets, dahi (curd) and butter, and a group of people trying to reach and break it. The breaking of Handi symbolizes the mischievous and mischievous nature of Lord Krishna.
