“The polygraph test did not reveal whether anyone else was involved”
The polygraph tests conducted on Roy, former principal of RG Kar Sandip Ghosh and five others also did not provide any clue to the CBI about the role of anyone else, according to officials privy to the matter.
Sources told CNN-News18 that Roy's polygraph test focused on trying to determine whether anyone else accompanied him to the seminar hall of the RG Kar Chest Department at the time of the crime.
At 4:03 am on August 9, Roy was captured on CCTV entering RG Kar alone. Experts analyze physical parameters to determine whether a person is lying. The forensic team asked Roy if anyone else was colluding with him. The answer is no,” an official involved in the investigation told CNN-News18.
Officials added that while a polygraph test was not admissible evidence, the decision to test Roy was to look for any possible clues that he might not have given to the police or the CBI during his ongoing interrogation.
'Accused of having sex before committing crime'

Bhattacharya, in his statement submitted to the CBI, allegedly said that on August 8, Roy accompanied him to two red-light areas – Sonagachi and Chetra. Women solicit sex.
