    A video that went viral on social media recently showed a man dressed as 'Yamaraja' competing in a long jump competition on a potholed road in Udupi district of Karnataka.

    In the video, the man can be seen wearing traditional “Yamaraja” clothing and measuring the long jump made by the man wearing the ghost costume. In addition to Yamaraja, who is known as the God of Death, there is another man dressed as Chitra Gupta, a Hindu deity responsible for registering the dead.

    The film was shot on the Adi Udupi-Malpe road that connects Udupi with the famous Malpe beach. You can see that the road is full of potholes.

    Earlier, a woman in Hyderabad staged a similar protest by protesting in potholes filled with muddy water to highlight the poor condition of the city's roads.
