Jyoti's husband Sunny is having an affair with his office colleague. Sunny reportedly wanted to marry her girlfriend and even threatened Jyoti not to cause any harm to him
A married woman committed suicide after her husband had an affair with another woman and wanted to marry her. The incident took place in Panipat district of Haryana.
The husband and her girlfriend were allegedly torturing the deceased. Her family blamed police for not taking immediate action. Based on the complaint, police have registered a case against the husband and his girlfriend.
Jyoti, a resident of Panipat Dahal village, got married to Sunny in 2016 at Panipat Dahal village. Jyoti's family accused her husband of poisoning her and accused him and his girlfriend of killing their daughter. According to reports, Sonny called Jyoti and said, “If you die, we will raise your children.” After that, Jyoti committed suicide. Jyoti's family also claimed that Sunny continued to say that she would not cause any harm to Jyoti.
He said the woman's husband kept torturing her and demanded dowry. The family also warned the police that they would not pick up the body until the accused was arrested. Currently, the police are conducting an autopsy through family members' statements. The family also accused the police of delaying action.
The woman is survived by three daughters. Her parents died earlier. Jyoti's husband Sunny works as a corporate executive. He met Vanshika Yadav, a resident of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, at his workplace and fell in love with her. They decided to get married this month. Currently, both Sunny and his girlfriend Vanshika are on the run.
