I continued to text him asking about film opportunities but received no response. After sending several messages seeking feedback After I apologized for what I had done, one day I received a text message purportedly from Ranjith's wife asking me to stop texting or calling because I was not working, he recalled.
When asked why he chose to speak out now, Saghir said he felt empowered after the release of the Hema Commission report and wanted his story to be told too.
