Sources revealed that the incident took place in the Vanasthalipuram area of Hyderabad. A 21-year-old woman was hit by a speeding car and suffered serious injuries. The car hit her hard and she was thrown several feet away. People passing by gathered to rescue the victims lying on the road.
After the incident, the driver of the car fled the scene. The victim suffered serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. Her condition is said to be stable.
The police have registered a hit-and-run case and launched an investigation. The vehicle involved has been identified and the accused driver has been arrested.
Earlier, a 10-year-old girl was killed by a truck while riding on the pillion of a motorcycle in Hyderabad. The incident that took place in Habu Siguda area was captured on CCTV.
The victim, Kameshwari, a sixth-grade student, was returning home from school with her mother and younger brother. The accident occurred when a truck from Uppal district hit the motorcycle on which the girl was riding.
