The West Bengal chapter of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) pointed out that the fingerprint expert identified by the police was Dr. Avik De.
Dr Avik De, a first-year postgraduate intern at the Department of Surgery at Seth Sukhlal Karnani Memorial Hospital (SSKM), Kolkata, who was earlier identified by the police as a fingerprint expert, has been suspended by the West Bengal Trinamool Chhatra Parishad.
On Sunday, the West Bengal chapter of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) identified the fingerprint expert identified by the police as Dr Avik De. The medical institution posted on social media: “Please tell us when the great Dr. Avik De became a fingerprint expert? (as stated by Kolkata Police). As we all know, he was a first-year postgraduate intern at the Department of Surgery at SSKM Hospital.
