We often feel happy after buying expensive clothes. However, we get frustrated when others criticize our choices. Bashir Khan from Churu, Rajasthan, had such an experience. Today he is widely known in the city as “The White Man.”
Bashir Khan took this bold step after getting tired of the hassle of matching the right color shirt with the right pants. Bashir has loved fashion since he was a child and initially wore clothes chosen by his parents.
Once he started making money, he started investing in expensive clothing of his choice. However, when he showed these works to friends and acquaintances, he was often criticized for his color choices. Frustrated by these comments, he decided to wear only white clothes, thus completely eliminating the whole problem of “matching” clothes of the right color.
Bashir Khan now wears his signature colors all the time, he has white shirts, pants, underwear, shoes and socks. His car is also white. Since white clothes get dirty easily, he had multiple tailor-made outfits to ensure he was always white.
Khan has maintained his all-white style for the past 40 years. He started wearing white clothes when he was 22 years old.
