Jasdeep Singh Gill was on Monday nominated as the spiritual leader of Radha Somi Sasan Biyas with immediate effect. The news was announced by current sect leader Gurinder Singh Dhillon.
The sect has a large number of followers at home and abroad. The country's top political leaders visit the church's headquarters from time to time.
Confirming the significant development, a senior official in Derabis said: “Babaji, who was out of town for some time, returned to Derabis yesterday.
