    Hilsa fish thief caught red-handed at market in Malda, Bangladesh

    The arrested man, a resident of Alapur, Kotwali, was accused of stealing a box of anchovies from the Ratbali fish bank in Malda.

    People in West Bengal love to eat fish. In a recent development, a man was reportedly caught red-handed stealing some fish and selling them in the market. This incident caused a huge stir in the market. When people learned about this, they were all amazed.

    The fish the man stole was hilsa fish, a favorite delicacy of Bengalis. The fish were reportedly stolen from a large fish market in Malda city. The stolen Hilsa fish was being sold at the fish market and the real owner caught the accused red-handed and handed him over to the police. The incident reportedly took place at Kotwali Market in Malda, Bangladesh.

    According to police sources, the arrested man is a resident of Kotwaliarapur. He was accused of stealing a box of Hilsa fish from the Rathbari fish depot in Malda. According to reports, the man was selling the fish at Kotwali market after stealing it. Local businessmen caught him red-handed and tied him up with a rope until the police arrived.

    Later, policemen from English Bazar police station reached the market and took the accused along with a box of fish to the police station. However, the accused claimed that he did not steal the fish but purchased it from outside the warehouse for about Rs 700. A police officer said: “We have taken the defendant and the fish to the police station along with a box of fish. However, the man claimed that he did not steal anything. The defendant claimed that he was wrongly arrested on suspicion of theft. The police have started an investigation to investigate Find out what happened.
