Forecasters are predicting continued rain and wet weather in the UK over the summer as global warming continues to cause more unsettled weather.
The Met Office has told government and transport chiefs to prepare for at least 50 days of rain over the next three months, raising fears of further flooding across the UK and dashing hopes of a warm summer in the UK.
Last summer saw 40 days of rainfall, but the Met Office predicts it will be even worse this summer, jeopardizing popular summer events such as Wimbledon, Trooping the Color, the Royal Ascot Music Festival, and events including Galla. Many music festivals including Stonebury Festival.
A rainfall of at least 2.5 millimeters in a 24-hour period is required to be considered a rainy day.

As I pointed out at the time, the Met Office warning did not even match their own 3 month outlook and was clearly designed purely to scare the public.
