IAS officer Tina Dabi, who made headlines when she topped the UPSC civil services exam in her first attempt in 2015, has been posted 150 kilometers away from her husband's posting.
The Rajasthan government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle in the state and transferred 102 officials. Tina Dabi has been appointed as Barmer District Collector. Her husband Pradeep Gawande has been appointed in charge of Jallore district.
Pragya Kewalraman has been appointed as divisional commissioner, Banswara Udaipur, while IAS Jitendra Soni has been appointed as additional in-charge, Dudu and Jaipur rural areas.
Tina Dabi serves as Commissioner, Employment Guarantee Scheme Department, Jaipur. From topping her UPSC exams to her marriage and divorce, she has been in the headlines many times before. After the divorce, she married IAS officer Pradeep Gawande.
Tina Dabi was previously serving as Jaisalmer district collector. She went on maternity leave in July, after which Ashish Gupta of the 2013 batch was appointed as the district collector. After leaving the school district, Tina Darby wrote a touching post thanking all staff.
After her maternity leave, she sought an off-site position with the state government and was later appointed as Commissioner, Jaipur Employment Guarantee Scheme. Tina Dabi's sister Riya Dabi cracked UPSC in 2020 and is also an IAS officer.
