    Possible showers expected this week – The Baltimore Sun

    After a warm, sunny weekend in the Baltimore area, showers are possible throughout the week.

    Sunday will be sunny with a high near 84 degrees and winds of 7 to 10 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Sunday night will be sunny with a low of about 59 degrees.

    Monday will be sunny, with a high near 79 degrees and winds around 9 mph. Monday night will be the start of the week's rain chances. The weather will become cloudy with a chance of showers after 2am

    Monday night low temperatures will be around 65 degrees, with lows to moderate temperatures continuing.

    Rain chances will become stronger on Tuesday, with the chance of precipitation jumping to 60%. Tuesday will be cloudy, with a high near 72 degrees and winds of 11 to 13 mph.

    Rain is still possible after 8pm on Tuesday, with a chance of thunderstorms. The lowest temperature is 66 degrees, and the chance of precipitation is about 80%.

    Wednesday will be cloudy with showers expected, with a maximum temperature of about 77 degrees and a 60% chance of precipitation.

    On Wednesday night, the weather will remain cloudy and the chance of precipitation will drop to 50%. The low will be around 67.

    A 50% chance of precipitation will continue into Thursday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 76 degrees.

    Thursday night, showers are possible before 2 a.m. The weather will be mainly cloudy, with a low around 65 degrees.

    Showers will remain throughout the work week, with about a 40% chance of rain on Friday. The weather will be mainly cloudy, with a maximum temperature of about 76 degrees.

    Forecasters don't expect much change Friday night as mostly cloudy skies will remain with a chance of precipitation. The low will be around 62.
