The global mean lower tropospheric temperature (LT) anomaly for the September 2024 version 6 is +0.96 degrees. C deviates from the 1991-2020 average and is +0.88 degrees above the August 2024 anomaly. C.
The linear warming trend since January 1979 has remained at +0.16 C/decade (global mean ocean +0.14 C/decade, global mean land +0.21 C/decade).
