Although Hurricane Milton has not yet made landfall on the Florida coast, regions across the state were already feeling the effects Wednesday afternoon.
Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, Broward and Pinellas counties are under a tornado watch until 9 p.m. as winds increase in Florida.
Several tornado sightings have been reported, including a large tornado spotted near Alligator Alley in Broward County. Video captured by traffic cameras showed the huge tornado moving across the road.
CBS12 meteorologists Charlotte Carr and Lauren Olesky were on the air as the huge tornado ripped across the busy highway.

“It does look like it's all the way to the ground, so that's why we're issuing a tornado warning. It's not just a funnel cloud, it's not a false alarm,” Carr said during continuing coverage of the storm.
Carr said when you see areas around the ground rising, that means the tornado is actively spinning on the ground, kicking up debris as it moves.
Much of South Florida is also under a tropical storm warning, which means a tropical storm is expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours, according to the National Hurricane Center.
The center also said several tornadoes were likely across central and southern Florida.
