Grid companies now appear to be taking the risk of blackouts seriously this winter.
I got this today:
Simply using “bad weather” as an excuse is foolish. We experience severe weather every year and often experience brief power outages for a variety of reasons.
They're just annoying, but nothing more. The TV and computer are turned off together. But the worst part was the alarm clock going off next door!
But we don't get these well-coordinated warnings.
But apparently these little things are not what Northern Power Grid has in mind. Instead, they seem worried about major outages when we simply don't have enough power to operate.
I want to know why?
