    Climate activists spray paint US embassy in London, claiming election was 'bought by Big Oil'

    Protesters behind Stop the Oil defaced the facade of the U.S. Embassy in London on Wednesday in protest against President-elect Trump. [emphasis, links added]

    Hours after Trump called the 2024 election, two protesters, aged 25 and 72, “Just Stop Oil” T-shirts were spray-painted on the walls of the embassy to show their “rejection of fascism.”

    The Metropolitan Police arrested two people.

    America's dependence on foreign energy has been the most concerning issue of this recent cycle.

    In the only debate between the two candidates, Harris boasted that she and President Joe Biden's administration had overseen “the largest increase in domestic oil production in history because we recognized that we couldn't [overly rely] “About foreign oil,” a moment that marked a shift in her tone on the topic of clean energy.
