The Baltimore area could see snow showers early Friday morning as rainy temperatures drop this weekend.
Friday morning's forecast shows a chance of rain and snow showers starting at 1 a.m. Friday, with snow showers possible before 7 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Additionally, temperatures near BWI Marshall Airport will drop to 47 degrees on Friday, with rain expected for the final days of the week.
Skies are expected to be mostly cloudy around 4 p.m. Wednesday, with a high near 62 degrees and a chance of showers. Overnight temperatures could drop to 41 degrees, with rainfall amounts of a quarter to a half inch possible.
Rain is expected to clear during the day on Thursday, with skies expected to become cloudy, with a high near 51 degrees and wind gusts as high as 24 mph. But more rain is expected Thursday night into Friday morning, with a chance of snow, and it's expected to be windy and cold, with lows around 36 degrees.
The weather service expects a 60% chance of rain Friday morning as snow showers turn to rain. Otherwise, Friday is expected to be mainly cloudy, with a high near 47 degrees.
A chance of showers is expected Friday night into Saturday morning, clearing around 1 a.m. and then sunny on Saturday, with a high near 54 degrees.
