The Baltimore area received its first snowfall of the year Friday morning, followed by a cold, wet and windy day, with sunny skies and breezy weather expected for the rest of the weekend.
Saturday will be sunny and the temperature will reach around 53°F, according to the National Weather Service. Winds are expected from the northwest at 10 to 15 mph. By Saturday night, skies will become partly cloudy and temperatures will drop to around 42°F. Winds will moderate slightly, with gusts reaching 10 to 15 mph.

More sunshine is expected on Sunday, with a high near 58°F. Wind speeds will remain at 10 to 15 mph. The day was mostly sunny except for a few clouds. The NWS predicts cloudy skies Sunday night, with temperatures dropping to around 43°F. Winds will remain light, leading to a calm night.
As Thanksgiving week begins, expect mostly sunny skies on Monday with a high near 64°F. There's a 40% chance of showers after 1 a.m. Monday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 51°F. Tuesday is expected to be sunny with a high near 62°F. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with temperatures dropping to around 35°F.
The weather will be cooler midweek, followed by mostly sunshine on Wednesday with temperatures in the mid-50s. Showers are possible Wednesday night with a 30% chance of precipitation and a low around 35°F.
Colder temperatures are expected on Thanksgiving, according to the National Weather Service. Thanksgiving Day will be mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of showers and a high near 48°F, continuing into Thursday night with a low around 35°F.
