The Baltimore area was shrouded in thick fog, reducing visibility to a quarter mile or less during the Wednesday morning commute.
Much of the state was under a dense fog warning until 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Driving in poor visibility can be dangerous, so drivers should use caution.

There is a 100% chance of rain on Wednesday and temperatures will reach as high as 65 degrees. Breezy in the morning and afternoon, with south wind 8 to 13 mph, becoming northwest 17 to 22 mph in the afternoon. Wind gusts could reach up to 39 mph.
In the evening, there is a 30% chance of rain before 10pm, then clearing, with a low around 34 degrees. Wind gusts could reach 44 mph.
The sun is expected to come out again on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with temperatures near 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
On Sunday, when the Ravens take on the Giants in New York, the temperature will rise to 52 degrees and there's a 70 percent chance of rain.
