Ministers are pressing ahead with plans to use electric vehicles (EVs) on the battlefield despite warnings from military figures that electric vehicles could pose dangers to armed forces.
The Daily Telegraph understands that the Ministry of Defense will step up testing of battlefield electric vehicles next year at Army Bovington Station in Dorset, home to the Tank Museum.

However, military chiefs on Saturday called on the government to think twice before going ahead with its “frantic effort”, warning that the rush to achieve net zero emissions on the battlefield could put British troops at a disadvantage.

Just when you thought the British government had reached the pinnacle of stupidity, they've reached some new level of absurdity that astonished us all.
What should I do if the electric chariot runs out of power? Do they require their opponents to stop attacking for 8 hours until the solar panels have finished charging?
On the positive side, we can't blame the current UK government for its efforts to keep us entertained. Whenever I can't find something to write about, all I have to do is type “Miliband” or “Starmer” into a Google search and I have my next WUWT story.
