    Biden meeting
President Joe Biden may be exiting the White House in 31 days, but on Friday he remained committed to meeting new U.S. climate goals under the Paris climate accord, even as President-elect Donald Trump vowed to review any commitments under the globalist treaty any commitment. The United States has committed to reducing economy-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 61-66% by 2035 compared with 2005 levels.According to a White House statement, the statement announced the last move before the Biden administration is disbanded, AFP reported.

“I'm proud that my administration is enacting the boldest climate agenda in American history,” Biden said in a video statement praising new measures aimed at pushing the United States toward net-zero emissions by 2050.

“We will turn this existential threat into a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform our country for generations to come.”

Of course, Biden was unable to deliver on his promise.

However, Trump’s second term is expected to Comprehensive rollback of environmental protection and reassessment of international commitments, including the Paris AgreementAccording to Breitbart News, this mirrors what happened during his first term when he withdrew the United States from the deal.

Trump's 2017 decision, which fulfilled a key campaign promise to supporters of his presidential campaign, was widely supported by Republican members of Congress who believed the Paris Treaty unfairly harmed the U.S. economy.

Now he will repeat the move.

“Throughout his first term, President Trump promoted conservation and environmental stewardship while promoting economic growth for families.Trump-Vance transition spokesperson Carolyn Leavitt said in a statement to AFP.

she added Trump’s policies “provide consumers with affordable, reliable energy and stable, good-paying jobs.” and pledged his second term “It will once again provide clean air and water to American families while making America rich again.”

Biden's global climate envoy John Podesta countered in a call with reporters that while Trump “will probably put climate action on the back burner,” he still has a push for the private sector and state and local governments. Progress is confident.
