As the mainstream media engages in its campaign to stoke mass climate psychosis and prepare for the coming net-zero catastrophe, wait for another round of “Hottest Eva” stories. Alas, hold on for a while longer, because after such a brilliant promotional turn, this story may have to be scrapped. Global temperatures are plummeting, and the oceans are cooling at an alarming rate. In the UK, this year could see the second annual temperature drop since the so-called “record” year of 2022.
Just last May, the BBC's Matt McGrath and Justin Rowlatt claimed that the world's oceans had been breaking temperature records every day for the past year, “driven by climate change.” Gases that cause global warming are said to be “the main culprit”. Three days in particular were 0.34°C lower than the previous high. It's puzzling that this story, which might have been considered a matter of ongoing concern, was not followed up. The chart below, compiled from data provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), may help explain why.
In just a few months since this article was written, sea temperatures across large swaths of the world’s oceans have dropped dramatically by 0.5°C. Now it's back to 2015 levels. Two years of fear-mongering about uncontrolled ocean warming, from U.N. Secretary-General António “Boiled” Guterres to media climate comic Jim “Jail Denier” Dyer, has suddenly been thrown into the ever-expanding list of failures. In the ruins of climate panic. It is highly likely that temperatures will fall further in the coming months, especially if natural La Niña cooling changes develop as expected. In the Pacific, temperature anomalies in the Niño region are currently in negative territory. This fact and the image above also mark the end of much of the nonsense written by the author guardian. Before we come to our senses, who can forget this nonsense from environment editor Damian Carrington: “‘Stunning’ ocean temperatures in 2023 set for ‘abnormality’ around the world as climate crisis continues to intensify Weather brings stress.
Land temperatures are also falling, with UAH satellite records recently showing significant monthly declines. With the exception of satellites that accurately measure the Earth's nearby atmosphere, we must treat most surface temperature data with caution, if not cynicism, given our recent discoveries of urban thermal corruption, fabricated data, retroactive adjustments, and extremely lax site policies. Still, land temperatures appear to be starting to drop, and cooler oceans will speed up the process.
Temperatures have risen dramatically over the past few years, and some scientists are trying to provide an explanation. A recent paper published by Copernicus, the European Union's weather service, concluded that the warming spike was driven by a strong, naturally occurring El Niño phenomenon. This natural variation originates in the Pacific Ocean and carries heat around the globe, affecting weather patterns and temperatures. Interestingly, Copernicus noted that the 0.29°C peak was not unprecedented in the observational record, as there was a slightly larger rise in 1976-77. Other suggestions to explain the short-term temperature spike include recent decreases in atmospheric particulate matter caused by cleaner ocean fuels, increased solar activity, and the 2022 Hungatonga volcano that increased water vapor in the upper atmosphere. Meanwhile, a new paper published this month science It is pointed out that the warming since 2013 and the peak in 2023 are contributed by the reduction of cloud cover. This means more solar radiation reaches the Earth's surface.
The latest episode of climate hysteria shows that despite vast amounts of computer power and huge amounts of money, much of climate science remains stuck in a “fixed” Dark Ages. Radical scientists and their loyal media emissaries view any deviation from the climate norm as a linear progression toward the end of the world. The role of natural variability is continually downplayed, scientists who deviate from the “established” narrative of humans controlling the climate thermostat are canceled, and news release pseudoscience is spread to convince unsuspecting journalists to attribute individual weather events to humans. Net-zero enthusiasts have been preparing their battle plans to command and control every aspect of human existence. One of the potential strikes is currently making its way through the UK Parliament in the form of a Private Members' Bill, which appears to have the support of nearly a third of the House of Commons. Recently in daily skepticism, Paul Homewood provides a worrying analysis of the dire proposals contained in the Climate and Nature Bill. He concluded:
Net zero emissions are already causing huge harm, but if this bill becomes law the country will be transformed beyond recognition in a decade. Energy and food will be scarce, industry will be decimated, and private transportation and foreign holidays will become a thing of the past. Things we take for granted today will be unaffordable for most people. There's nothing we can do about it.
Wondering why you've been experiencing out-of-control temperatures and boiling oceans lately? Just look at the current antics of well-meaning ignorant fools who are obsessed with their lavish middle-class beliefs while determined to pursue a collectivist agenda at all costs.
