    Strong winds Wednesday; snow likely Friday and Sunday

    Baltimore is expected to see wind gusts up to 40 mph in 2025, with possible snow showers on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

    A wind warning is in effect for the Baltimore area until 7 p.m. Wednesday, with winds expected to reach 20 to 25 mph throughout the day, with gusts as high as 46 mph.

    Wednesday is expected to be sunny, with a maximum temperature near 46 degrees.

    Wind speeds are expected to drop to around 16 mph Wednesday night, with gusts reaching 30 mph. Temperatures are expected to drop to around 30 degrees.

    Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 40 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Winds of 14 to 17 mph are expected to continue into Thursday, with gusts up to 30 mph.

    Entering Thursday night, the weather is expected to become partly cloudy, with a minimum temperature of about 27 degrees.

    Snow showers are possible Friday before 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The weather is expected to be mainly cloudy, with a maximum temperature close to 40 degrees and a 30% chance of rainfall.

    Friday night, the chance of precipitation is expected to drop to 20 percent, with a chance of snow before 1 a.m.

    The weather will be sunny Saturday with a high of 33 degrees, the NWS reported. The weather is expected to be mostly sunny on Saturday night, with a low of about 23 degrees.

    Sunday will be the second chance for snow of the new year, according to the National Weather Service. The weather is expected to be sunny during the day, with a maximum temperature of 33 degrees, and the chance of precipitation will jump to 40% at night.

    Snow is expected to fall after 1 a.m., with temperatures expected to be around 24 degrees on Sunday night.

    The chance of snow is expected to increase to 50% on Monday, according to the National Weather Service. The weather is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a maximum temperature of around 34 degrees. The low Monday night is expected to be 34.
