The storm has now moved away from the Baltimore area, but traffic remains a challenge.
As of Tuesday morning, 59 flights scheduled to leave BWI Marshall Airport on Tuesday were canceled and six were delayed, according to FlightAware. In addition, 51 flights were scheduled to arrive at BWI on Tuesday but were cancelled. Several airlines are asking passengers to rebook travel plans for later dates.
Due to the ongoing effects of the winter storm, MARC trains will operate the R schedule on all 3 lines on Tuesday. Only trains with an R below the train number in the Camden and Pennsylvania Line schedules and an R in the schedule to the right of the Brunswick Line schedule will run. Some Penn Line and Camden Line trains make additional stops on the R schedule. For Penn Line passengers, in addition to the R schedule, trains 455 and 454 (leaving Penn Station at 8:45 p.m. and Union Station at 10:05 p.m., respectively) will also run.
Amtrak canceled 33 Northeast Corridor trains between Boston and Washington on Tuesday morning, according to the company's website.
Several MTA bus routes were also affected by the snowfall. The following express routes will not operate on Tuesday:
- 103: City Center – Cromwell Bridge.
- 105: Sedonia – Downtown.
- 115: Downtown – Perry Hall.
- 120: White Marsh-Downtown/Hopkins.
- 150: Columbia – Downtown/Eastport.
- 154: State Center-Kearney/Hillondale.
- 160: Downtown/Hopkins-Essex.
