Mild weather is expected Saturday and another snowstorm will move into the Baltimore area on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a slight chance of rain Saturday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., with temperatures reaching 45 degrees in the afternoon. More rain is possible Saturday night, with a low around 32 degrees and winds around 6 mph.

A winter storm watch is in effect for the Baltimore area on Sunday, with a 100% chance of precipitation. The area is expected to receive about 1 to 3 inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service. Areas to the north and west, including Carroll and Frederick counties, could see 3 to 5 inches of rain.
It will be cloudy in most areas on Sunday night, then gradually clear, with a minimum temperature of about 18 degrees.

These cold spells will continue for most of the week.
Monday (Martin Luther King Day) will be sunny but cold, with a high of 24 degrees and an overnight low of about 6 degrees.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott is debating whether to cancel the Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade for the second consecutive year ahead of severe weather.
Scott told The Baltimore Sun he's concerned about this weekend's weather forecast, which predicts up to three inches of snow on Sunday, followed by a cold snap on Monday that will keep temperatures in the low 20s. Scott said he didn't know when a decision would be made on whether to proceed with the 2025 event.

President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony on Monday was also moved indoors amid forecasts of extremely cold weather. Monday's forecast for Washington, D.C., calls for sunny skies with a high near 24 degrees and a westerly wind of 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.
The high in Baltimore on Tuesday was 23 and the low was around 11 p.m.
The weather is expected to be sunny on Wednesday, with the maximum temperature around 22 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 11 degrees Celsius.
The Mayor's Office of Homeless Services has extended the purple winter shelter opening hours to 9 a.m. Thursday. The number of days the shelter will be operational.
