The Daily Caller News Foundation confirmed that the radical left-wing activist group Climate Justice League (CJA) is closing a grant program that the Biden administration is trying to sow with $50 million in taxpayer cash. [emphasis, links added]
CJA is sunsetting the grant program for “Environmental Justice” and the Biden Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is trying to fund $50 million from a massive “Environmental Justice” grant program from the agency, which represents the group A spokesperson, on behalf of the group, confirmed to DCNF.

In December 2023, Biden EPA selected CJA as one of the winners of its “Environmental Justice Prosperity Community Grant Program”. A $600 million initiative that provides large checks to militant organizations and universities, which in turn spreads the funds to local sub-sectors.
CJA informed its news members on Wednesday that the organization also announced it was Sunset Grant Program A spokesperson representing the CJA told DCNF in a post on the website sometime Wednesday afternoon.
“The Climate Justice League is making Unite-EJ plan sunset due to lack of federal funding.” CJA executive director KD Chavez wrote in an email to DCNF. “Rejecting the federal government’s CJA harms offspring and deprives power from everyday people and their ability to obtain clean air and water.”
Chavez added that projects that could have been funded include monitoring air quality, water quality and wastewater discharge from industrial facilities.
“It’s gratifying news for American taxpayers that their hard-won dollar won’t be a climate justice alliance publicly expressed radical, anti-American and anti-Semitic views,Republican Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, a Republican, said in a statement shared with DCNF.
“I have long warned of the waste, fraud and abuse associated with the Biden EPA grants in the Lower Inflation Act, and I am glad that in this case, it seems that the funds will not be granted.”
CJA describes itself as “establishing a transition from the extraction system of production, consumption and political oppression” and considers this “The path of climate justice moves through free Palestine.”
The group has provided several printable posters on its website, ostensibly for protests Advocates defend, such as the return and abolition of prisons to police, and other radical status.
The group also spreads false narratives about the death of gender non-binary activists near Atlanta, Georgia in January 2023.
