Green pie lands in the sky dreamy collapse track Reality.
Like communism in the 20th century, the Green Revolution produced infinite fantasies, commitments and unrealistic dreams. When the test of reality, amateur plans that look great on paper look totally nonsense.
Power outage news report on the latest green wake-up call: European aviation giant Airbus has stopped developing a hydrogen-powered aircraft, which was originally scheduled to be launched in 2035, has been cancelled. The main reason for the cessation was reportedly the lack of necessary hydrogen infrastructure. In short: Planners realize that it is financially unfeasible and doesn't work.
And, like nearly every green project in the sky, cancellation always follows a statement that the project is only temporarily postponed and remains a future goal.
“The company remains hopeful to develop marketable hydrogen aircraft and contribute to the decarbonization of aviation. The industry is pursuing a climate-neutral goal by 2050,” Blackout News reported. “However, experts are increasingly questioning whether this goal can be achieved.”
According to analysts, the focus remains on alternatives such as synthetic aviation fuels, but these alternatives also face huge technical and investment barriers. It may also be joining the “It's Still Goal” club soon.
At present, demand for air travel is increasing rapidly and the current trajectory is expected to continue over the next two decades. Transforming into a completely new aviation infrastructure is much more difficult and complex than naive climate activists understand.
“The focus will now be on the further development of sustainable fuels and improving the efficiency of existing aircraft,” added the Blackout News. “The vision of hydrogen-hand-powered aircraft is temporarily distant.”
