President Donald Trump calls for a reversal of several Biden-era green energy regulations on household appliances.
Trump announced in a post on the Truth Society on Tuesday that he is directing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) secretary Lee Zeldin to begin reversing water standards regulations on household appliances, including sinks, dishwashers, showers and a washing machine. Trump's announcement comes from a series of executive actions since returning to the White House to overturn many of the Biden-era green energy policies.
“I hereby instruct Secretary Lee Zeldin to return immediately to my environment orders, which were terminated by the crooked Joe Biden, with sinks, showers, toilets, washing phones, Dishwasher etc. about returning to the common sense standards set by the Trump administration, but were terminated by the bent Joe. ” “I look forward to signing these orders. Thank you!!!”
As part of his iconic climate agenda, former President Joe Biden has proposed various green energy regulations, including tightening energy for a range of household appliances, including dishwashers, gas stoves, light bulbs and water heaters. Efficiency regulations.
Since Trump returned to the Oval Office on January 20, the Trump Vance administration has taken several actions to revoke Biden's energy policy, including moving away strict fuel economy standards from the Biden Harris administration , to set strict fuel economy standards for vehicles and to halt the Biden-Harris Administration's electric vehicle charging network program. The president also signed an executive order on January 20 to “release” the United States’ “affordable, reliable energy and natural resources.”
Trump said in the executive order: “In recent years, heavy and ideologically motivated regulations have hindered the development of these resources, limiting the generation of reliable and affordable electricity, reducing employment opportunities and bringing our citizens. Come high energy costs.” “These high energy costs destroy American consumers by increasing the costs of transportation, heating, utilities, agriculture and manufacturing while weakening our national security.”
