NSF Union requests information about pending firings

Mass shooting expected this week, a union of more than 1,000 employees representing the National Science Foundation (NSF) today asked the agency to explain how it implemented Trump's administration order to narrow down by dismissing people designated as probation workers Federal labor force.

“Put us out of the situation,” said an NSF employee, who received a February 17 letter sent by the United States Government Employees Federation to NSF Director Sethuraman Panchanathan. “If you’re going to fire us, please let us know.”

This letter, scienceasked Panchanathan's criteria, the agency used to withdraw the eligible pool of eligible people from the White House Office of Personnel Management from the Jan. 20 memorandum.

There is a single standard to fire “probation workers”…

“If you are not the right person for the job, the employer can fire you at any time during the probation period.” USAJOBS.GOV

If you are a trial employee, you can “get fired at any time during the trial.” That's how trial hire works. If your job has been eliminated, you will no longer be the “right person to work”.

Now, let's go back to the “Trump Tracker”…

Indoor sector, layoffs shock new scientists, hoping to have a safe service career

When the Trump administration released a wave of shooting at a U.S. research institute today, it was mainly aimed at trial workers. Scienceinsider Two scientists at a U.S. agency at the U.S. Department of the Interior spoke with them and they were losing their jobs. A postdoctoral fellow who started his position at the U.S. Geological Survey last year received a call today at the U.S. Center director telling them they will be fired at the end of the day. “He broke the news and wanted to do it himself,” they said. Ecologists said it was a shock, but not entirely unexpected. They also think they are relatively lucky because their spouse is hired and does not have to relocate for their postdoctoral fellows. “I know some other off-road moves and start positions just to get news. … It’s really hard.”

One would think that people at the American Association for Science Development will be able to master the term “probation workers.” And why the United States Geology Investigation using a PhD Ecologist? Let's ask Google AI:

It looks like another job for the Governor boy.

Why spend hundreds of millions of dollars on taxpayers’ dollars on “educational research”?

    Stop Contract Threat Education Research

Researchers warn that the sudden cancellation of hundreds of millions of dollars in government contracts this week to gather information about the state of education in the United States will blind the government to important trends from preschool to colleges and beyond.

Hundreds of millions of “hundreds of millions of dollars in government contracts to collect information about the state of education in the United States”? Seriously? We know all we need to know about the “state of our education.” This is almost average in science and mathematics.

The estimated number of trial workers at NIH, CDC, FDA and other health and public services agencies are planning to receive termination notices from the Trump administration.

Why is the American Association for Scientific Development so obsessed with the reduction in the size of the federal government?

American Association for Scientific Development (AAAS)

The American Association for Scientific Development (AAAS) is a science advocacy organization based in the United States and is the largest general science association in the world. It is the publisher of diary science.

The AAAS was accused of promoting a left-leaning policy agenda and ties with former Soviet groups during the Cold War. Many of its leaders have also been criticized for supporting environmentalist policies and promoting global population control measures.

In the modern era, AAA's ideological activism has promoted participation in the promotion of left-wing “scientific activities” under the guise of promoting science. It participated in the “Science March” against President Donald Trump's election and policy.1

Data from U.S. website spending (managed by the Office of Management and Budget) shows that AAAS received $27.9 million from 451 contracts between 2004 and March 2018. In this subsidy, the Department of Health and Human Services signed the largest contract with AAAS (Division of Health and Human Services (mainly from subsidiary companies, National Institutes of Health and Department of Homeland Security).
